$79 Garage Door Tune-Up
We balance the door, tighten every bolt on it, lubricate what moves, align the safety sensors and set the opener. One flat $79 covers up to two doors. Booked for a window that suits you.
- $79 is the whole visit for up to two doors, not a call-out fee

What the $79 covers
Included on every tune-up, on up to two doors per visit. One offer per household.
Spring Tension & Door Balance
The door gets disconnected from the opener and lifted by hand. A balanced door stops wherever you leave it. One that drops or climbs gets adjusted first.
Hardware Tightening
Hinges, brackets, track bolts and the opener rail all get checked and tightened. A door that runs several times a day works its own hardware loose.
Lubrication
Lubricated with the right product in the right places. Most of the noise people call us about is dry rollers and nothing else.
Safety Sensors & Auto-Reverse
The photo eyes get aligned and the door is run onto an obstruction to confirm it reverses. It goes out of adjustment quietly, so nothing tells you when it stopped working.
Opener Force & Limit Settings
Set so the door closes fully without straining and opens without slamming into the stop.
Cable, Drum & Seal Inspection
Checked for fraying, slipping and gaps. You get told what we found whether or not it needs anything today.
If We Find Something Else
Sometimes we do: a spring near the end of its cycles, a frayed cable, a roller that has lost its bearing.
You get told what it is and what it costs, and you decide. Nothing gets replaced without you agreeing to the price, and saying no still leaves you with the tune-up you paid for.
The $79 is the price whether we find anything or not.
IronGate Care
IronGate Care is two tune-ups a year and 10% off repairs, new doors and openers, for $149 a year.
Signs Your Door Needs a Tune-Up
All three are adjustments, not replacements, if you catch them early enough.
Noisy Operation
Grinding, banging or a squeal that the neighbors can hear. Usually rollers and loose hardware, occasionally a bearing.
Door Lifts Unevenly
One side leading the other means the cables or the spring tension are off. Left alone this is how doors come off their tracks.
Door Reverses On Its Own
Door starts down, thinks better of it, goes back up. Sensors or force settings, and both are part of the tune-up.

Common Questions
What does the $79 cover?
The visit and the full tune-up on up to two doors at the same address: balance, hardware, lubrication, sensors, auto-reverse test and opener settings on each. It is a flat $79, not a call-out fee with the work priced on top.
Is there a limit?
One tune-up offer per household, covering up to two doors on the one visit. Any further door on the same property is quoted separately.
What if you find something that needs replacing?
We tell you what it is and what it costs, and you decide on the spot. Nothing gets replaced without you agreeing to the price first, and saying no still leaves you with the tune-up you paid for.
How often should a garage door be tuned up?
Once a year is the usual answer for a door that gets used every day. If yours has never had one and it is more than a few years old, that is the one to book.
How long does it take?
Most doors are done inside an hour. You get an arrival window rather than a single time, and a text when we are on the way.
What's Included for $79
Door Balance
A balanced door is one the opener is not fighting on every cycle. That is where most of a tune-up goes.
Arrival Window & Text Update
An arrival window when you book, and a text on the day.
